We have finally completed our Font Stencil project! (HURRAH!) We have updated 66 font listings, added multiple images to each, and created a newly updated cheat sheet for every single one!
To celebrate the project finally being complete, we have created a new spring-themed font called Chicken Scratch!
The font will go live on our website next weekend but, before you make a note to grab one, there’s a way you can get it for FREE! (Keep reading to find out how!)

We thought we’d send you all on a little treasure hunt around our website, to help us out with the final stages of our font stencil project!
Here’s how:
We know that in the process of updating this many listings and images, that there are bound to be mistakes.
We need your eagle eyes to check our font listings. We are looking for errors in the listing text, images and, if you receive them, the accompanying cheat sheets.
If you find a mistake, pop it as a comment on this blog post. The first person to find each mistake will receive a code to add the lower case Chicken Scratch font to their next order for free!
What sort of mistakes am I looking for?
Anything really, from the title and text included, to mistakes in the graphics or cheat sheets.
If you take a look at the example below, we have adjusted the font used to create the Fairytale stencil, to give a full upper case (the original uses a lower case a and e as upper case letters). When we created the graphics to illustrate the font we forgot to adjust, so the graphic doesn’t line up with the stencil!
(FYI, we have already fixed this one!)

Hi Jo, I’ve just resubscribe my VIP. I noticed that on the purple box with sunshines titled subscribe and save it says ‘oops a daisy VIP silver tier 10% discount’ . Just wanted to check this with you as when you go to subscribe the discount is for the gold tier.
Hi Jo, the cheat sheet for the skinny font stencil upper case does not include the numbers and the skinny font stencil lover case does include the numbers. Hope that helps?
Hey, I noticed on the page when ordering my missing cheat sheets … it says Fairytale inner and Fairytale outer rather than Upper and Lower in the list. 🙂

Not 100% sure but I think the Royal cheat sheet has another “o” instead of a “0”.

I think the U on Hocus Pocus UC is back to front. Tail is at start (left) Although I guess this may be stylistic as it’s the same
On stencil and cheat sheet although The LC u has its tail at the end (right) of the letter.
This one is actually part of the font design 🙂 xx

Not sure if this is the kind of thing you mean, but the Unwind lower case font numbers start with 0, whereas the others start with 1 and have 0 at the end.

Hi Ruth, was this in reference to the U and the V? In the Sunshine font these are the same for upper and lower case 🙂
I think the number 1 in the dotty version of Showtime is wrong. It looks like a straight 1 instead of one with a flick at the top.

Most entries say “Click here to scroll down and learn about this fab stencil font” at the top of the page but I’ve found the following ones that introduce the upper case font as it that’s the one you’re buying even though you have upper and lower options: Hocus Pocus, Orbitron, Prickly Pear, Jurassic, Smile and Royal.

There’s a old link in the Ballpoint Pen font that takes you to a discontinued version of the lower case font.

Hi. I’ve noticed on Boogie Woogie that 7 and 8 are the wrong way round

This is a very strange one as somehow the error managed to pass both me (stencil design and listing) and Kate (icons and the cheat sheet)… So out of curiosity we checked the font and somehow the actual font has an 8 for a 7 and a 7 for an 8!!
