7 Days of Self-Care – 2024

This Year’s Challenge!

This year we will be challenging you to be Unapologetically YOU! This is all about being true to you, and living your fullest, best life.

The challenge runs from Monday 15th April – Sunday 21st April, and we will be using it as an opportunity to raise funds for a cause very close to our hearts!

We will have an exclusive challenge Facebook community, digital downloads, journaling prompts, and live streams, all encouraging you to take a little time each day dedicated to YOU!

How It Works

In total, we will have 16 self-care actions comprising of daily challenges, live streams and little moments. There will be a self-care bingo board available for you to complete across the week, plus prizes for one member who successfully completes a full house as well as our chosen ‘cheerleader’ of the week.

Daily Challenges

Rather than a set challenge for each day, we will let you know all of the daily challenges up front and you can decide on which days you want to complete them!

Livestreams

We will have three livestreams hosted by the Oops a Daisy team and our fabulous co-host, Emma from Sunshine Lane (find out more below!).

Little Moments

Six little extra moments for you to complete over the week. These could be anything from a random act of kindness, getting outside, or hydrating your body!

The Hosts

This year we are joined by fellow small business owner Emma in hosting the challenge. As owner of Sunshine Lane, she creates products designed to inspire people to be kinder to themselves and to practice more self-care. We couldn’t wish for a more perfect co-host!

FYI – All of our livestreams will be available to watch back if you aren’t able to watch live on the day.

Jo – Founder Oops a Daisy

Jo will host our first live stream of the challenge, at 12pm on Sunday 14th April.

Together we’ll set up a self-care challenge bingo board for you to complete across the week.

Psst… If you don’t want to set up a bingo board by hand, we will also be providing a handy printable download!

Kate – Designer at Oops a Daisy

Kate will host our second live stream of the challenge, at 7pm on Wednesday 17th April.

Kate will be encouraging you to get creative with some guided doodles and chit chat!

Create something fun in your journal, perhaps learn a new skill!

Emma – Founder Sunshine Lane

Emma will host our final live stream of the challenge, at 12pm on Sunday 21st April.

Follow along with Emma as she creates self-affirmations, decorates her journal, and explores prompts for self-discovery and gratitude. It’s all about celebrating what makes you, YOU!

Feel good & do good!

After the success of “Journal With Oops a Daisy” we wanted to use our annual self-care challenge as another opportunity to raise money for a cause that is close to our hearts.

In order to access the challenge we ask that you make a small donation to our chosen cause: A Teacher Room at Harlow Fields School and College.

Harlow Fields School and College is run exclusively for pupils with moderate, severe, and complex needs, staffed by the most amazing group of teachers and support staff.

We would like to raise funds to help support the PTA in transforming an unused space within the school, into a multi-use room that the team can use to rest and recuperate, hold meetings, plan and do admin. As you can see from the pictures, the space currently isn’t fit for use, but we think with your help we can make this the perfect retreat for a very deserving team.

Why is this important to us?

The pictures below show the ridiculously handsome Alfie, a student of Harlow Fields, along with his teacher (and one of his favourite people). Alfie has Cerebral Palsy, along with several other complex medical needs, which presents many challenges from a day-to-day perspective.

Alfie and his mum, Sophie, are close friends of the team at Oops a Daisy, so we have seen first-hand what an amazing difference the teachers and support staff at Harlow Fields make to their lives. The staff at Harlow Fields have an incredibly challenging job and they deserve a space fitting to how awesome they are!
