Why make changes?
You know what they say… A change is as good as a rest! At Oops a Daisy we are always striving to improve and grow on what we have done before, taking guidance from you – our customers – in the form of surveys and on social media.
2023 has been a financially tricky year for many. We want to make sure that if you choose to spend your hard earned money with us, that we do everything we can to provide the best value by creating a range of products that you will use again and again.
The ultimate aim for this year’s changes is to improve the usability of our journaling subscriptions, so that you can develop a collection that works together over a season!
When will the changes happen?
The changes will begin from our next Big One (subscriber payment taken on 1st October for dispatch on 1st December).
They will also affect, to a smaller extent, our 2024 monthly subscriptions starting with our November dispatch box, designed for planning January 2025.
A collection for a season!
We know many of you subscribe to both the Big One (our quarterly box) and the Mini One (our monthly box) so we wanted to ensure these boxes complement each other, so you can get more use out of your stationery items.
Each season our quarterly box will feature a distinct concept and colour palette. The monthly subscriptions throughout the quarter will align with this overarching concept, while still maintaining their individual themes.
Our ultimate aim is to create a collection of items that work both together, and individually allowing you to let your creativity flow to the max!
Do I need to subscribe to both?
This is totally up to you! The aim is for both the Big One and the Mini One to work separately, but also co-ordinate with each other. This flexibility allows you to opt for either one, or both, subscriptions.
The Big One will be more concept based, while the Mini Ones will have stronger theme emphasis. As they will all draw from the same colour palette, you’ll have the freedom to combine items when creating your journal spreads. For instance, you might use Washi tape and scrapbook paper from the Big One alongside stickers and Washi tape from the Mini One.
Will the items included remain the same?
The Big One: Each Big One will still include 10 or more journaling items (a mix of stencils, stickers, Washi tape and more). However, these items will center around concepts rather than themes. They will be designed to be versatile and usable month after month.
Additionally, we plan to include the monthly theme planning cards introduced in our “Wild Journaling” box, aiding you in planning your journal themes each quarter.
The Mini One: The contents of our monthly subscriptions will remain the same, except for one change. As we’ve now exhausted the range of Koi brush pen colours, we conducted a poll in our Facebook community to see what they would like to replace these with in our 2024 boxes. An overwhelming majority wanted to us to “mix it up”, so each month’s box will now include a surprise journaling accessory. These accessories will be chosen to complement the theme of the month and may include notepads, page markers, stamps, and more!
In order to maximise room for designs (and the potential to use the themes included at any time) we will be removing the month header and habit tracker from the Mini One stencils. We plan on releasing the 2024 habit tracker calendars as a single stencil as part of our October “Get ready for 2024” launch.
Daisy Says: As some quarters may see us feature a single font over more than one theme, we intend to experiment more with our Daisy Says subscription. Some months will feature a new fonts, with other months containing a set of Mini Pocket Fonts or quote stencil!
Is it going to cost me more?
For new subscribers our quarterly box price will increase slightly to reflect the increase in costs we are seeing at our manufacturers. From October 2023 the Big One will be £31 per quarter including P&P.
For existing monthly and quarterly subscribers the prices will remain the same.
As always, our quarterly subscription has no minimum term. You can pause/cancel at any time.
Stand alone box
We’re also planning to offer the Big One as a standalone box pre-order. This option allows you to purchase the box without committing to. a quarterly payment plan. The standalone box will be priced at £34, including shipping.
Opting for a standalone box will give you access to the Subscriber Zone for the entire quarter, so you can access the co-ordinating items for the whole season!
Making your additional items work harder!
In recent quarterly boxes, our add-on items such as pens and inks have become increasingly popular. With both our quarterly and monthly subscriptions now sharing the same colour palette, this means you can utilise these items for longer!
We would also LOVE to introduce some skinny Washi tape sets and maybe even sticker books to co-ordinate with the colour palette. Having the colours remain relevant throughout a whole season will make these items even more useful!
We will also be creating a seasonal Subscriber Shop that both monthly and quarterly subscribers can access. This shop will include coordinating coloured dot grid papers for the quarter’s colour palette, available free of charge for both our monthly and quarterly subscribers!

The next Big One theme is “Become” and is all about taking small steps to create big change.

How do I sign up?
Current subscribers: You don’t need to take any action as long as your subscriptions remain active. Your quarterly subscription will renew on the 1st October, and your monthly subscriptions will renew on the 1st of each month, just as before.
New subscribers: We have currently closed to new subscribers while we update the website to reflect the changes. Subscriptions will reopen on Monday 16th October. Make sure you’re signed up to our email newsletter to be notified when sign-ups reopen!
