You can see example of the styles of spread you can create with each below.

Before You Begin

There is a protective film across the Grid Ruler that you will need to peel off.

PLEASE NOTICE: You may see cross marks between the checklist holes. These are created when the holes are punched and will not effect the usage of the ruler.

Find The Centre Of Your Space

Use the grid ruler to find the centre of any space in you journal page. (Very handy if you have part of a page to divide).

Place the ruler on your page and align so that the same number is on the space edge left and right. The triangle marks the centre point.

Visualise Dividing The Space

The Universal Grid Ruler is a great tool for visualising how you can split up your page (or any space within a spread).

Lay your ruler over the space on the page you wish to divide. Using the boxes as a guide, visualise the widths of the columns or boxes that the space can be divided into.

Easily Measure Set Distances

The number of grid spaces between the notches along the bottom of the ruler are denoted by the numbers.

If you know a size of box that you use often, you can draw it quickly using these measures as a guide.

(The example shown is 5 x 7, which is the basis for any monthly habit tracker!)

Checklist or Habit Tracker?

Each Universal Grid Ruler also has cutouts of 7 squares and 7 circles.

These are handily spaced to fit a 5mm dot-grid and can be used as a checklist or a weekly habit tracker.
