What Makes Our Grid Guide So SMART?
The Oops a Daisy Grid Guide is an invaluable tool for your journal. Here’s why…
- DUAL FUNCTION – Transparent to allow it to act as a guide, with punched holes to make marking up your page easy.
- YOU ARE IN CONTROL – Choose the number of columns and rows you wish to create.
- JOURNAL SPECIFIC SIZING – A5 and B5 variations available.
- PERFECT SIZING – Designed to line up with a 5mm dot-grid.
- LIGHTWEIGHT – Tuck it inside your journal and carry it with you.
Before You Get Started…
There are a couple of steps to take before you get started with your Grid Guide.
Firstly, you’ll need to remove the clear film. This has been left in place to protect your Grid Guide throughout the packing and shipping process.
Once the film has been removed, you may need to pop out some of the punched holes.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a totally normal part of the set up process (and can’t be avoided without us removing your protective film). You can use any pointy ended tool for this – a pen, knitting needle, or compass work great!

How To Use

Find the centre of your page
If your journal doesn’t have pre-marked centre and side centre points (unlike the Journals), you can use the Grid Guide to do this for you.
By placing the grid guide centrally on your page, the larger punch holes will indicate the centre and side-centre points.

Divide your page into columns
- Decide how many columns you wish for your page to be divided into.
- Lay the Grid Guide across the page.
- Mark through guide holes with a pencil.
- Use these marks as guides to draw your columns.

Divide your page into rows
- Decide how many rows you wish for your page to be divided into.
- Lay the Grid Guide across the page.
- Mark through guide holes with a pencil.
- Use these marks as guides to draw your rows.
