A bit more about Daisy Doodles – Journaling for Juniors!
Journaling is SO MUCH FUN, it’s not fair that only grown ups get to play!
The Daisy Doodles gang are excited to introduce their favourite hobby to the next generation of journalers!
Who are the Daisy Doodles Gang?
The gang all live with their human Jo, and each like to use their journal in a slightly different way.
Daisy – Daisy is a rescue Jack Russell Dog and is the boss at Oops a Daisy (well that’s what she likes to tell her human, Jo!). She mostly uses her journal for planning ahead… perhaps you have a school holiday coming up and want to plan what you will do every day… this is where Daisy can help!
Buttercup – Buttercup is the oldest member of the Daisy Doodles gang, She is a black and white cat who loves to use her Journal for memory keeping. If you’ve been on a day out or a holiday your journal is a great place to write down all of your favourite memories.
Flora – Flora is a naughty tortoiseshell kitty. She spends a lot of time running and climbing and bouncing about. She likes to use her journal for mindfulness, this is something we can all do to help relax after a busy or stressful day.
Freckle – Freckle is a tiny doggy who likes to use her journal just for fun! She loves creating lists of her favourite things or drawing pictures from her imagination! Her journal is bright and full of colour.
So as you can see, there are lots of different ways to journal, the most important thing is that you enjoy yourself!
Do you want to join the Daisy Doodles Gang?
The gang will be helping Jo to design lots of different fun stencils and stickers that will be perfect for Junior Journalers!
The first step is to check out our My First Journal kit which contains your very own Journal – (B5 size which is nice and big to fit in all of your doodles!)
- Daisy Doodle Pencil
- Daisy Doodle Stencils – to help you fill your journal pages
- How to guides (written by the Daisy Doodles gang!)
- “This Journal Belongs To…” colouring page by Snail Scribbles
- Washi tape – colourful tape to add to your journal for decoration and to stick things in
- Lots of Stickers!! (Not pictured)
Who is Daisy Doodles aimed at?
We hope the Daisy Doodles range will be a great introduction to journaling. The tools can be used in a variety of ways, so should be suitable for children and young adults aged from 6 right up to grown ups should you also wish to get involved!
What type of journal do you recommend?
The Daisy Doodles My First Journal kit includes a bespoke B5 size journal. We chose this size as we feel the extra room this provides will be more suited to our junior journalers.
Should you wish to use the add on kits without this stencil we would recommend B5 or A4 paper/notebook.
Tell me more about the stencils:
The stencils contained within this set will be a brand new design (and size) designed exclusively for the Daisy Doodles My First Journal Kit!
They will be perfect to use as an introduction for journaling!
What if I have more than one child?
We have created a Sibling Add On Pack that contains a Daisy Doodles Journal and Pencil, designed to be used in addition to the My First Journal Kit so that the children can share the stencils, stickers and washi but each have their own journal.
Post and Packaging
The kit will be packed up in a letterbox friendly box and sent by Royal Mail second class post.
Estimated postage time to UK is 2-3 days, rest of the world 2-3 weeks.
