Monthly Review Journal Spread

One of my journaling resolutions for this year is to create a monthly review page at the end of every month.

Monthly review pages give you an opportunity to create a snapshot of time.

I plan on recording what I have been reading, watching and listening to, in addition to carrying out a ‘Traffic Light Review” of what I will aim to stop, start and continue!

Watch as I create my monthly spread here:

Traffic Light Review

This is a visual way of representing what you will stop, start, and continue doing.

Take some time to think about what has worked well this month, what you need to stop doing, and what your focus is for the month ahead.

Here is an example of how I might use this when thinking about my journaling style, but it can also be used for general life habits, work reviews and pretty much anything you can think of!

🔴 STOP: Creating habit trackers for movement – I never fill these in!

🟢 START: Planning my meals and sticking to the plan!

🟠 CONTINUE: Setting up my month as a dutch door – This works really well for me.

Show me yours!

Have you created a monthly review in your journal? It would be great to build up a gallery of inspiration for future readers!

Monthly Review Resources:

I live in Essex in the UK with my gaggle of furry friends including Daisy the dog. I have had lifetime passion/obsession for beautiful stationery and to do lists which has lead me to the wonderful world of Bullet journals. When I first starting bullet journaling it struck me the lack of UK based resources for journal accessories which lead me to create my own. I know have my very own webshop selling my hand made journal stencils and ship all over the world and am just as enthusiastic as I ever was about stationery and organisation!!

  1. It is a useful to use a review. I have the other Review stencil that just has boxes with the icons below. This give me a good idea of what’ll I’ll set up
    Thanks
