When the festive time of year rolls around, my to-do lists get a little longer and my calendar a little busier. It is now that I need more journal more than ever to stay on top of all of the things I need to get done!
This is also a brilliant excuse to add a little Christmas fun to my journal pages! To take a look at what I have created read on…
First up is my Hello December page:
As you can see I have kept this page really simple, with a Christmas tree motif created using a stencil from our Christmas journal kit. I add in a December Calendar tab so that I can easily find the start of the month. The tree was coloured using my FAVOURITE pencils, the Faber-Castell Polychromos*
My December monthly spread continues with the Christmas theme…
For a short video on the set up of this spread, along with the links to all of the tools used, click here! You can’t tell easily from this photo, but I really love the touch of metallic added to the baubles using my Papermania Metallic PenPapermania Metallic PenPapermania Metallic Pens* – If you can’t get away with a touch of bling at Christmas I don’t know when you can…
As you will know if you follow my blog, at the start of each month I create a master to-do list. This month I just HAD to have a Christmas theme; so I created the ‘productivity tree’. Each category of tasks is assigned a colour. as I complete the task I will fill in a bauble on the tree in the corresponding colour. At the end of the month it should create a good representation of what I have spent my time focusing on!

Finally, I created a spread to track and plan what gifts I need to buy. I split the page into 4 sections, Family, Friends, Friends Children and Miscellaneous. I will add in the names of all of the people that I need to buy gifts for and ideas as I think of them.
I have also created a set up video of this spread… to have a look click on the link here!
